Throughout the summer there is a regular bus service from Ferreries to Ciutadella; and Mahon, which pass through all the main towns on the island. From Mahon and Ciutadella you can connect to bus services which serve all major resorts on the island, meaning car rental is not essential when staying in Ferreries. |

There are some wonderful coastal walks from Cala Galdana where you can discover the virgin beaches of Macarella, Macarelleta, Mitjana, Mitjaneta, Trebaluger, Turqueta and many more. The beaches on the northern coast are also within a short drive. Ferreries is an excellent base for beach lovers. |
| Gastronomy | Ferreries is home to some fantastic restaurants, from rustic tapas bars like Vimpi to excellent fresh fish eateries like Rias Baixas and an authentic Sushi restaurant, all within walking distance of the house. Also close by is Liorna, specialising in pizza and El Gallo, famous locally for their meat dishes. |
| Wine tasting | Menorca now produces several good quality wines with a distinctive flavour. Try Binifadet, Hort de Sant Patrici, where you can also sample locally produced cheese or Vinya Sa Cudia. |

Booking notes
A 20% deposit is required at the time of booking with the remainder due 6 weeks prior to your arrival date. A security deposit of 400 euros is payable in cash on the day of arrival. All amounts paid are non-refundable except the security deposit which will be returned to you on your departure day less any damages. There are no set change-over / arrival days, you are welcome to arrive on any day to suit your itinerary.
